Every Fritch Brothers piece begins as raw sterling silver or gold and leaves the bench as a one-of-a-kind expression of the American West.

Made in California since 1940

Raw material becomes a working piece of art.

Fritch Brothers creates solid sterling silver and gold Western buckles, bracelets, earrings, money clips, collar tips, bolas, rings, pendants, and custom pieces. The goal has remained constant across three generations: offer the finest workmanship, lasting materials, and personal service at a fair value.

Nothing is stamped out to imitate handwork. Each piece is formed, fitted, soldered, engraved, finished, and inspected by a working silversmith.

From the bench

How a Fritch piece is made.

  1. 01

    Shape

Raw sheets of solid sterling silver are measured, cut, and formed into the foundation of the piece.

  2. 02

    Fit

Frames, keepers, tips, findings, and gold accents are individually fitted and soldered by hand.

  3. 03

    Engrave

Floral scrolls, longhorns, stars, and rope borders are cut into the metal one deliberate line at a time.

  4. 04

    Finish

Surfaces are refined, antiqued where appropriate, polished, and brought to their final depth and contrast.

  5. 05

    Inspect

Every component, edge, engraving cut, and moving part is examined before the piece leaves the workshop.
